Planted Roots Productions was founded and is run by sister Sarah and Hailey Hines!

In this day and age, film and other media avenues are a highly utilized form of communication with our youth and community.

Films can be shared across multiple platforms of communication including social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and twitter as well as film and short film platforms such as Youtube, Vimeo, Netflix, Hulu; and the list goes on.

Planted Roots Productions is not just dedicated to making independent or blockbuster films, but also dedicated to producing films with the purpose of spreading important messages, spread kindness, show historic depictions, and/or films that teach or portray strong moral values.

In 2015 PRP produced and directed its first short film "Spread the Virus" - a film about spreading kindness.

In 2016 PRP produced and directed its first award winning promotional short - "Peace Among Black Hills", promoting a feature length/episodic script which PRP hopes to produce locally in the near future.

Planted Roots Productions works with many individuals and groups and is prepared to accomplish and/or assist in many aspects of film making including;

Planted Roots Productions also participated in and sponsored Runway Renegades, a Washington based non-profit in 2019. Sarah Hines was accepted as a designer for 2020 but due to COVID-19 it was cancelled. PRF/PRP hopes to participate again in 2021!
